Preparation of Train Consist Documentation (VNS) for trains arriving from or departing to foreign countries. 

Service provided at handover stations: Jelgava, Šķirotava, Daugavpils, Rēzekne. 

The service includes the preparation of the Train Consist List (VNS) in the C-KNIS information system, based on data received from the Ordering Railway Undertaking, including wagon order, results of technical and commercial inspections, etc.

Scope of service: 

(1) Data entry and correction in VNS as per data provided by the Ordering Undertaking;

(2) Submission of VNS to the Undertaking for verification and confirmation;

(3) Submission of Message 4770 (Information on vehicles and loads in the train consist) to the foreign Railway Undertaking;

(4) Delivery of initial/agreed VNS electronically to the Railway Undertaking.

Preparation of Train Consist Documentation (VNS) for trains arriving from or departing to foreign countries, including additional services. 

Service provided at handover stations: Jelgava, Šķirotava, Daugavpils, Rēzekne. 

Scope of service: 

(1) VNS preparation based on data from C-KNIS and KVNNS systems (wagon number and sequence verification, comparison with consist telegram data, loading gauge compliance), technical inspection data from LDZ VTAP, and commercial inspection results from the Ordering Undertaking

(2) Drafting of deficiency reports and telegrams;

(3) Submission of VNS to the Railway Undertaking for data verification and confirmation;

(4) Adjustment of VNS based on actual data;

(5) Submission of Message 4770 to the foreign Railway Undertaking;

(6) Delivery of the initial/agreed VNS electronically.

Preparation of Train Consist Documentation (VNS) for trains arriving from or departing to foreign countries, formed for multiple Railway Undertakings.

The service is provided at handover stations: Jelgava, Šķirotava, Daugavpils, Rēzekne.

The service includes:

(1) receipt and handover of the train documentation package;

(2) preparation of the train documentation package for dispatch towards the border station / division of the train documentation package for the issuance of documents to the ordering Railway Undertaking;

(3) preparation of the VNS in the C-KNIS information system, based on information received from the Railway Undertaking regarding the order of wagons in the train consist and the results of technical and commercial inspections of wagons;

(4) affixing of the calendar stamp of the ordering Railway Undertaking to the VNS; handover of the VNS to the ordering Railway Undertaking;

(5) transmission of Message “4770” to the foreign Railway Undertaking.

EUR 50 per VNS + EUR 4.15 per wagon

Preparation of Train Consist Documentation (VNS) with additional services for trains arriving from or departing to foreign countries, formed for multiple Railway Undertakings.

The service is provided at handover stations: Jelgava, Šķirotava, Daugavpils, Rēzekne.

The service includes:

(1) receipt and handover of the train documentation package and verification of transport documents against the consist telegram (natūrlapa);

(2) preparation of the VNS based on information obtained from the C-KNIS information system and the KVNNS information system (verification of wagon numbers and sequence in the train consist, comparison with consist telegram data, verification of compliance with loading gauge requirements), as well as information provided by the ordering Railway Undertaking on the results of technical and commercial inspections of wagons;

(3) preparation of reports and telegrams regarding identified deficiencies;

(4) making an entry in the consist telegram indicating the principal responsible for applying the customs procedure to the cargo; delivery of documents required for Customs and PVD inspections to Customs Control Point (MKP) and PVD, and return delivery prior to the agreement of the VNS;

(5) amendment of the VNS in accordance with actual data, verification of consist telegram data, and provision of information to LDZ for correction of consist telegram data;

(6) affixing of the calendar stamp of the ordering Railway Undertaking to the consignment notes and the VNS, to certify handover and border station passage;

(7) transmission of Message “4770” to the foreign Railway Undertaking, and electronic delivery of the initial/agreed VNS to the ordering Railway Undertaking;

(8) preparation of the train documentation package for dispatch towards the border station / division of the train documentation package and issuance of documents to the ordering Railway Undertaking.

Locomotive Parking Service

Provided at Šķirotava, Daugavpils, Rēzekne and Krustpils stations, including placement of railway undertakings’ locomotives on designated stabling sidings.
